Our coach tours in Torquay offer an exceptional way to delve into the captivating history and literary heritage of the English Riviera.
Graham is a full time Agatha Christie tour guide and winner of the Visit Devon International Tourism Award 2024-25. His tours have earned over 600 five-star reviews from guests worldwide.
He will arrive at your hotel and give a short presentation to your guests about Agatha’s life.
Afterwards, the group will join Graham on your coach and the walking tour will start at Agatha’s new memorial and finish, about an hour later at the Princess Pier (weather permitting). The route is flat and paved.
We re-board your coach and travel around Torquay to locations that were significant in Agatha’s life, such as the Grand hotel, Torquay station, the hospital and pharmacy where she worked during the First World War and the church where she was baptised. Graham will provide a commentary on the coach as we travel around Torquay.
After an hour, the coach heads to Kents Cavern for a private tour of the caves (which inspired Agatha’s interest in archaeology) and the tour ends with a sumptuous Devonshire cream tea.

The English Riviera Heritage Tour follows a similar format, with a presentation at your hotel about Torquay’s fascinating history and amusing anecdotes about its colourful residents, before boarding your coach for a 2 hour tour of the English Riviera, stopping at key historic landmarks, followed by a private tour of Kents Cavern and a cream tea.
