The Fawlty Tours Walking Experience

2025 marks the 50th anniversary of the first episode, when Basil, Sybil, Manuel and Polly first appeared on our TV screens at Torquay’s most chaotic hotel.

We celebrate the story of Fawlty Towers, its characters and the actors, whilst remembering the funniest moments from this timeless comedy classic.

This tour is one of the best activities to do in Devon. It’s a light-hearted trip down memory lane with plenty of laugh-out-loud moments along the way and great photo opportunities, but no Riff-Raff are permitted!

  • Find out about the colourful couple who owned the infamous hotel and where it’s located
