This circular walk meets outside The English Riviera Tourist Information Office in Vaughan Parade, Torquay TQ2 5JG. See photo
The walk takes us past the Pavilion, along Princess Gardens and Princess Pier, towards The Grand Hotel and Torquay station, before returning via Torre Abbey, over Rock Walk and around the harbour, finishing at Haldon Pier.
For every walker that join us, £1.00 will be donated to the South West Coast Path in support of their efforts in maintaining this wonderful route.

From the first step he related interesting information about the people and places that lived... read more or visited this delightful coastal town through the ages. Featuring Oscar Wilde, John Lee and Queen Victoria’s lady in waiting, to name but a few; Graham told fascinating stories whilst we walked down to and along Oddicombe Beach. The funicular railway brought us back to Babbacombe and the end of our tour. It was fun and informative and for that we highly recommend and thank Graham.

As locals we were amazed by how many historical facts we didn't know and astounded by how much history there is on our doorstep.
The circular tour was enhanced by Graham's use of a tablet to show us photos and videos of places and buildings in their heyday.
We are a family of four (children aged 9 and 13) plus a dog and we all really enjoyed our afternoon which the drizzly weather didn't spoil. We'll certainly try one of his other tours soon.
We would definitely recommend English Riviera Walking Tours for people of any age - tourists and locals alike.

We did the "Best of Babbacombe" tour and found Graham to be really upbeat and personable, full of really engaging and informative stories which gave us a more in-depth insight... read more into some of the amazing history and places of interest. The tour lasted for nearly 3 hours and Graham's passion made it fly by (with the help of a delicious authentic ice-cream stop along the way).

We did tour at the start of our holiday and Graham went out of his way to give us ideas of things to do and places to eat. It is a must for visitors to Torquay and I would highly recommend.
Graham Kerr was our guide, recommended by the Tourist Information Office. He led us on a 3-hour narrated walk in Torquay. My wife and I chose to do the Beauty of the Bay walk with Graham. It was a great introduction to the Bay. It is hilly in some places but... read more certainly manageable for most. The views were amazing but more importantly, Graham was fantastic. Highly knowledgeable including Agatha Christie and the second world war. It was so interesting that straight after the walk, we went to Torquay museum.
At £10 per person, it is great value for money and Graham also offers various other walks.
I cannot recommend Graham highly enough. He was a complete professional but also relaxed. My wife and I learnt a lot and really did discover the beauty of the Bay with some incredible views. It was worth every single penny!
