Our mid-August stay in Torquay developed into a far greater experience than we had anticipated, and this is in part thanks to this comprehensive tour. In addition to the beautiful... read more views and best fish and chips we’ve had - our 3 hour tour of Agatha Christie’s relationship with Torquay by our very knowledgable and enthusiastic guide Graham, was the icing on the cake of our trip.
Enjoying a beautiful walk along the harbour and up at greater heights, we enjoyed anecdotes not just about Christie’s life but about Torquay’s history as well.
My family and I all agreed that this was the highlight of our trip, and we’d recommend it to anyone wanting to enjoy a surprisingly fun-filled, coastline tour of Christie’s long and incredible life, alongside insights into Torquay’s history we had not anticipated.

Pointed... read more some great places to visit and eat while we were here and we learnt a lot. It was very relaxed and at our pace. My wife and I chose to do the Beauty of the Bay walk with Graham. It was a great introduction to the Bay. It is hilly in some places but... read more certainly manageable for most. The views were amazing but more importantly, Graham was fantastic. Highly knowledgeable including Agatha Christie and the second world war. At £10 per person, it is great value for money and Graham also offers various other walks.
I cannot recommend Graham highly enough. He was a complete professional but also relaxed. My wife and I learnt a lot and really did discover the beauty of the Bay with some incredible views. It was worth every single penny!

We met Graham (the tour guide) in Torquay Harbour for what turned out to be a very enjoyable few hours. He is very knowledgable and has an obvious passion for Torquay and the surrounding area and is full of fun facts and stories
The walk itself took us out of Torquay and along part of the coastal path, it is not quite 4 miles with a number of steps and some rough ground - my Mum who was with me is 73 and managed easily but would definitely recommend a walking pole
I am very familiar with Torquay but doing this walk definitely opened my eyes to its charm and beauty
I believe this is one of a number of tours and would 100% recommend it, I will be making a return trip to try the others
